City Launches Engage Chattanooga Platform with Survey on Community Centers

Jump to:

Chattanooga, Tenn. (February 10th, 2025) - To better meet the needs of
Chattanoogans, the city government is asking for participation in an online
survey about what programs and services are offered at Community Centers.
The survey, which runs through February 17, can be completed online by clicking
this link <http://tinyurl.com/chattcom>.

The survey is hosted on Engage Chattanooga, a new community engagement
platform that will help the City government be more effective and
responsive to the needs of Chattanoogans.

“One of the key priorities of the One Chattanooga plan is to invest in
technology, platforms, and practices that allow Chattanooga to lead with
citizen involvement and engagement,” said Mayor Tim Kelly. “The Engage
Chattanooga platform <https://engage.chattanooga.gov/en/> will create a
central hub where Chattanoogans can give us input and help us make
decisions to provide effective and responsive local government. The
community center survey is a natural and important way to launch this
platform, and I encourage all Chattanoogans to participate. We’re working
hard every day to make city government work better for you.”

About the survey

Chattanooga has nine regional community centers. This survey will help city
representatives and leaders better understand what opportunities, services,
resources, and activities that Chattanoogans would like to see in their
unique communities.

Engage Chattanooga

Engage Chattanooga offers the convenience of accessing information and
offering feedback on City initiatives from a central hub. User comments go
directly to city representatives, allowing for more effective communication
between city government and the people who use city services.

As Engage Chattanooga is put to use in different departments and on
different services, it will be integrated into the recently updated
Chattanooga.gov website. Users of Chattanooga.gov will see buttons with
links for people to “Engage” on the issue, which will take them to the
Engage platform.
