Free event puts Chattanooga’s Hispanic culture on full display through music, dance, art, and food.
Chattanooga, Tenn. (September 20, 2023) – Mayor Tim Kelly and the City of Chattanooga are thrilled to announce the inaugural Hispanic Heritage Festival, a celebration of Hispanic culture in Chattanooga. The festival is scheduled to take place on October 15th from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Miller Park, offering a day of festivities, music, dance, cuisine, and community.
The Hispanic Heritage Festival aims to honor the culture and contributions of Hispanic and Latinx Americans in our city. Chattanooga takes immense pride in its diverse community, and this event will help showcase the significance of Hispanic heritage and how it has complemented Chattanooga’s culture.
The festival will be entirely free to the public and open to the entire community to enjoy an evening filled with performances of traditional Hispanic music and dance, and feature traditional Hispanic and Latino cuisine.
Art enthusiasts and the community will have the opportunity to explore the works of talented Hispanic and Latino artists, providing insight into the rich and varied artistic traditions of these communities. The event is designed to be family-friendly, offering engaging activities and workshops that provide both entertainment and education for children. The festival will offer a screening of the movie “Encanto,” a family-friendly Disney story that resonates with themes of family and heritage, adding to the cultural experience.

La Ciudad de Chattanooga celebrará el Mes de la Herencia Hispana con el Festival inaugural
Evento gratuito que exhibirá la cultura hispana de Chattanooga a través de la música, la danza, el arte y la comida.
Chattanooga, Tennessee (22 de septiembre de 2023) – El alcalde Tim Kelly y la Ciudad de Chattanooga se complacen en anunciar el Festival de la Herencia Hispana inaugural, una celebración de la cultura hispana en Chattanooga. El festival está programado para el 15 de octubre de 4:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. en Miller Park, ofreciendo un día de festividades, música, baile, arte y comunidad.
El Festival de la Herencia Hispana tiene como objetivo honrar la cultura y las contribuciones de los hispanos y latinos en nuestra ciudad. Chattanooga se enorgullece de su comunidad diversa, y este evento ayudará a mostrar la importancia de la herencia hispana y cómo ha complementado la cultura de Chattanooga.
El festival será completamente gratuito y estará abierto a toda la comunidad para disfrutar de una tarde llena de actuaciones de música y danza tradicional hispana, y contará con la comidas tradicional hispana y latina.
Los amantes del arte y la comunidad tendrán la oportunidad de explorar las obras de talentosos artistas hispanos y latinos, brindando una visión de las ricas y variadas tradiciones artísticas de estas comunidades. El evento está diseñado para ser apto para toda la familia, ofreciendo actividades y talleres que brindarán entretenimiento y educación para los niños. El festival ofrecerá una proyección de la película “Encanto”, una historia de Disney apta para toda la familia que resuena con temas de familia y herencia, agregando a la experiencia cultural.
